Since 1964, Priefert Manufacturing, Inc. has been the recognized innovative leader in livestock handling equipment. With a broad range of products and a host of endorsements by major organizations such as the PRCA, PBR, USTRC and more, Priefert arenas, chutes, stalls and other components are now in great demand at facilities both at home and abroad.
For years, fairgrounds and expo centers have been designed by architects working to achieve a look based on a concept offered by forward-thinking individuals from local board-of-directors. Many of these facilities were designed without proper consideration of the livestock equipment needed, animal flow or safety of the livestock and their handlers. Historically, Priefert has been brought in late in a project to resolve design and integration issues, often resulting in costly last-minute changes and the need for custom manufactured or fitted equipment. Customers began to request that Priefert become involved earlier in the process and either consult throughout the project or simply take control of the entire project.
At PCD (Priefert Complex Designs), we focus on the primary need to help animals and people flow smoothly throughout a designated area. Whether the facility requires design for a specific need or demands multi-use functionality, PCD starts by considering first and foremost the strongest and best use of space and equipment. Creating smooth animal and people flow to create safe, efficient operations begins in the initial layout. Additionally, maximizing space by incorporating the use of recognized dimensions of standard equipment both minimizes expenses and helps eliminate increased costs associated with the custom manufacturing of internal fixtures. Our goal is to help develop the most efficient, attractive facility possible working within the budgetary constraints of each project.
Whether you are retrofitting existing facilities or starting construction from the ground up, Priefert Complex Designs, has the ability to design, build and/or manage construction of agricultural, rodeo and equestrian facilities. Combining our decades of hands-on experience with livestock with a broad range of engineering, architectural and construction know-how, our experts can make your ideas a reality.
