Priefert Complex Designs is managed by Glen Calvert. Glen is a graduate Architectural Engineer with an emphasis on project management. As an Architectural Engineer, Glen is trained and experienced in all aspects of building design and construction - civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical design and holds Professional Engineering licenses in several states. Across the United States he has been involved in engineering, construction and project management of a multitude of developments, ranging from industrial to municipal; from utilities to skyscrapers.
Glen has assembled a talented staff at Priefert Complex Designs, experienced in engineering, architecture, drafting, rendering and project management. The staff uses cutting edge technology to design and integrate both buildings and equipment. The drawings and renderings we produce can be an invaluable tool for your group to visualize the scope of the project. By coordinating the expertise of the PCD team with Priefert Manufacturing's experience in livestock handling, we are able to produce livestock and equestrian projects which are safe, functional and attractive.
The Priefert Legacy
In a one room shop under the oak trees of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Marvin Priefert, a former Nebraska wheat
farmer and inventor, built a headgate for his neighbor. Little did he know that first piece of ranch
equipment would later become the foundation of one of the largest and most respected rodeo and ranch
equipment manufacturing companies in the world. Always a man who looked for a simple solution to a
complex problem, Marvin Priefert's innovativeness and his vision of a better way is still carried through
the family as it enters its third generation of ownership.
From the inventiveness of that Nebraska farmer's creative thinking has grown a company that not only leads
the way in the livestock handling business today but has, in many ways, revolutionized the industry. Son
Bill, and now grandsons Eddie, Nate, and Travis carry on the tradition of finding a better way into the
everyday operations of Priefert Manufacturing. Motivated by the pride of ownership and the challenge of
"building a better mousetrap", the Priefert Family has built a business and reputation based on the needs
of the American farmer and rancher. Building ranch equipment is not just our job; it's our lifestyle.
